Dreams can come true…
Still hard to believe that dreams can become true, however, I do!
When I was a kid, I thought I’d be the happiest girl in the world if I could have a walkman, a skateboard & rollerblades! Christmas and birthdays help to achieve these goals.
Since we were still living in the family house, I dreamed about having a chimney, living on a farm & having a dog… It was only later that I realized my wishes had become a reality. However, as a kid, I couldn’t really achieve that on my own!
As a child & teenager, I was fascinated by people, especially my cousins, who could switch to different languages so easily! I always wished I could do the same… Today, without planning to (unless maybe for English), I’m able to communicate in English & German (this was not planned at all!) and I’m about to leave to improve my Spanish skills…
When I told my Mum about my travel plans, she said to me: “Yes, I know, you’ve been speaking about it for a long time…” as if it was obvious I’d do it one day…
So yes, I do believe that dreams can come true and even sometimes without planning it!
