My Journey Round The World

 

Train to Twyford to meet my friends Steph & Freddy with whom I use to leave as a student in Coventry… Meeting with baby Talya that I’ve seen in February when she was only 3 days old as she decided to arrive 10 days in advance  

Arrival in London: first day to carry my little maisonnette on my back… Really convenient in the metro or when you read properly the name of the street & you don’t need to go back-and-forth because you  made a mistake… I can feel muscle ache today! Anyway, meeting with Katie who just arrived from the US for one year study at the London Economic School. Nice walking afternoon all around her new area where we arrived just on time for The Tour of Britain departure!

 

Last croissant before leaving France… Ariane is driving me to Calais-Frethun to take the Eurostar to London: second stop of my travel! 

Last diner in France with my good friends Ariane, Sabine, Renaud & the twin. Aperitif with saucisson… I’ll miss that ! The 15kg of my bag is the same weight as one of the twin Axel or Quentin… But maybe bag will be easier to handle! No fight & no need to read a story before going to bed

Improvised meal around a leg of lamb… Very tasty!

Any snail would tell you: 15kg on your back it’s huge ! Even with my 1,62m it’s heavy !!! Well some of my friends doesn’t seems to bother…

Nice evening with my great friends & ex-colleagues from NAUSICAA (you see Jean-Claude, I don’t forget people…). I’ll be saying goodbye to all of them before leaving for London on Saturday morning.
